I wish I was naturally smart.
shutupkayjay:
asdfghjklmaylonie:
Yes sometimes I get lazy and don’t put any effort into studying but even when I do, I don’t get good grades. I wish I was those who didn’t have to put much effort into studying yet I still get good grades.

How to Keep a Relationship
wsupmarcus:
Communicate: Talk about things, the good and bad.
Build trusts
Be honest
Be faithful
Be there for one another.
Make time for one another.
Leave the past to the past, which include ex’s.
Know that having arguments are normal.
Know that you won’t always be happy.
Don’t expect change.
Appreciate the flaws.
Appreciate each other.
Become best friends.
Lastly, love each other...

I hate being a loner in class
shirleychen:
When none of my friends are in the same class as me. I look like a lost puppy when the teacher lets us choose our own partners. Well the people in my class aren’t all complete strangers, I see them around school but they’re more like acquaintances. I would try to befriend them but everyone is already in their own little clique. Ugh loner status.

Katniss: “Peeta.“You said at the interview you’d had a crush on me forever. When did forever start?”
Peeta: “Oh, let’s see. I guess the first day of school. We were five. You had on a red plaid dress and your hair . . . it was in two braids instead of one. My father pointed you out when we were waiting to line up,”
Katniss: “Your father? Why?”
Peeta: “He said, ‘See that little girl? I wanted to marry her mother, but she ran off with a coal miner,’”
Katniss: “What? You’re making that up!”.
Peeta: “No, true story. And I said, ‘A coal miner? Why did she want a coal miner if she could’ve had you?’ And he said, ‘Because when he sings . . . even the birds stop to listen.’”
Katniss: “That’s true. They do. I mean, they did,”
Peeta: “So that day, in music assembly, the teacher asked who knew the valley song. Your hand shot right up in the air. She stood you up on a stool and had you sing it for us. And I swear, every bird outside the windows fell silent,”
Katniss: “Oh, please,”
Peeta: “No, it happened. And right when your song ended, I knew — just like your mother — I was a goner. Then for the next eleven years, I tried to work up the nerve to talk to you.”
Katniss: “Without success,”
Peeta: “Without success. So, in a way, my name being drawn in the reaping was a real piece of luck,”

Peeta: “It was all for the Games. How you acted.”
Katniss: “Not all of it,”
Peeta: “Then how much? No, forget that. I guess the real question is what’s going to be left when we get home?”
Katniss: “I don’t know. The closer we get to District Twelve, the more confused I get,” He waits, for further explanation, but none’s forthcoming.
Peeta: “Well, let me know when you work it out,” he says, and the pain in his voice is palpable.

Katniss: “What about you? I’ve seen you in the market. You can lift hundred pound bags of flour,” I snap at him. “Tell him that. That’s not nothing.”
Peeta: “Yes, and I’m sure the arena will be full of bags of flour for me to chuck at people.”
